The Shuttle 662

The Shuttle 662 is the high-frequency, high-quality link between Keighley, Bingley, Saltaire and Bradford, giving over 1,000 journey options every week.

At the end of 2015 it was given a £400,000 makeover. The service underwent a full rebrand in bright blue as The Shuttle and 16 vehicles were upgraded with new features including USB charging points, Wi-Fi and re-upholstered seats. The buses were refitted in house by our own engineering support unit and have all been named after famous space craft, including Apollo, Atlantis, Explorer, Galileo and Pioneer.

All vehicles are low-floor easy access for wheelchairs and pushchairs. Leather seating throughout means you can enjoy a comfortable ride, whether your journey is inter-urban or a shorter distance.

The Shuttle 662 runs direct along the Aire Valley between Keighley, Riddlesden, Bingley and Saltaire along the route of the old main road. The route then turns south-east to run between Saltaire, Frizinghall and Bradford, entering the City Centre along Manningham Lane and Westgate.

The Shuttle 662 follows a direct route, with no unnecessary diversions, taking you straight to the heart of Bradford City Centre or Keighley Town Centre.

The service runs at least every 10 minutes for most of the day on Mondays to Saturdays, and every 30 minutes evenings and Sundays, with later evening departures from Bradford until 12:15am at weekends

12th September 16

The bus station in Leeds will be closed for weekend resurfacing works on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 September, and on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 September. Buses won't be able to use the bus station whilst the works take place, so we'll be using temporary stops located close by instead.
