The Shuttle 662

The Shuttle 662 is the high-frequency, high-quality link between Keighley, Bingley, Saltaire and Bradford, giving over 1,000 journey options every week.

All vehicles are low-floor easy access for wheelchairs and pushchairs. Leather seating throughout means you can enjoy a comfortable ride, whether your journey is inter-urban or a shorter distance.

The Shuttle 662 runs direct along the Aire Valley between Keighley, Riddlesden, Bingley and Saltaire along the route of the old main road. The route then turns south-east to run between Saltaire, Frizinghall and Bradford, entering the City Centre along Manningham Lane and Westgate.

The Shuttle 662 follows a direct route, with no unnecessary diversions, taking you straight to the heart of Bradford City Centre or Keighley Town Centre.
The service runs at least every 10 minutes for most of the day on Mondays to Saturdays, and every 30 minutes evenings and Sundays.

20th June 13

Virtually unlimited West Yorkshire bus travel from 6pm Friday to midnight Sunday for just £8.

From Friday 21st June 2013 West Yorkshire’s bus users can take advantage of a new Metro Weekender ticket.

Weekender will give passengers virtually unlimited bus travel throughout West Yorkshire between 6pm on a Friday and midnight on the Sunday.

Available to buy on the bus, the new Weekender ticket is being introduced by TICCO, the West Yorkshire Ticketing Company, as an addition to the existing range of MetroCard products, which include MetroDay and DayRover tickets.

“Weekender offers an ideal way for residents and visitors to West Yorkshire to get around, whether they are shopping or sightseeing, pulling or partying, rambling or raving” said Metro Chairman Cllr James Lewis. “Weekender means that whatever you’re doing, for just £8 you can go out on the bus and have a good time.”

Passengers using Weekender just need to remember to hang on to their ticket and show it to the driver as they hop on and off buses throughout the weekend from 6pm on Friday to the end of Sunday evening.
